The current version, 12.0.3, was developed and released prior to MacOS 10.7. Versions of our software prior to 11.0 are not compatible with Windows Vista. The latest versions of our Desktop software install and run under Windows Vista (32-bit only Vista Home/Home Premium are not supported). Versions of our software prior to 7.0 are not compatible with Windows XP. The latest versions of our software install and run under Windows XP (32 bit only XP Home is not supported). We do know that the following software is not compatible with Windows 2000: ChemDraw 3.1, ChemOffice WebServer, and ChemOffice Ltd 3.1 or lower. Versions of our software prior to 6.0 are not supported under Windows 2000, but we are also not aware of any conflicts with most older versions of our software and Windows 2000. The latest versions of our software have been tested and work with Windows 2000 (Not supported for E-Notebook). Versions of our software prior to 12.0 were developed and released well before MS Office 2007, therefore prior to 12.0 are not compatible with MS Office 2007 applications. The current version is compatible with MS Office 2007. No other 64-bit versions of Windows have been tested and are therefore not supported. Customers who want to run on a 64-bit system will need to instead run the 64-bit version, with the appropriate settings The SQL Server Express installer that ships with our 2010 release is the 32-bit version. 64-bit IE is not supported for Chemdraw and Chem3D controls, only 32-bit IE is.ģ. Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate (64 bit), and Enterprise (64 bit) are now supported with the following caveats:Ģ. We have found that there are no problems with the compatibility besides BioAssay and STATISTICA. We have also tested our version 12.0 software with Windows 7 SP1 (32 and 64-bit). BioAssay and STATISTICA are the only application that's not supported under Windows 7 at this time. We support the use of those operating systems as a client system. Except for BioAssay and STATISTICA, we found no compatibility problem with version 12.0 applications. The current version of our software (version 12.0) has been tested with Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) and Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit). Please make sure you have applied the latest Microsoft hotfixes if you are seeing problems with compatibility with our applications. There are issues with copying and pasting between Microsoft Office 2010 and other software programs, including ChemBioDraw and ChemBio3D, that have been fixed by Microsoft in hotfixes. E-Notebook does not support MS Office 2010 documents, we plan to address that issue in a future release. We have tested our 12.0 software with MS Office 2010 (32-bit only) and have found that ChemBioOffice 12.0/2010 works with Microsoft Office 2010 with the following exceptions: ChemDraw for Excel requires version 12.0.2, available from the Support Downloads page for our 12.0 customers. The current version of our Desktop Software, 12.0/2010, was developed and released before MS Office 2010 was released.
